How to display Laptop screen on Fangle M1 with MirrorOp

Fangle M1 is a smart projector developed by Focalmax. Called “smart projector” since it is built in with Android system, it means it is like our Android smartphone. It has storage memory, then generally we can copy/transfer our documents to this device and project them anywhere we want. However, many people still prefer to display the documents from the laptop to Fangle M1, and here is how we can do that.

There are a lot of applications out there that help us mirror PC/Laptop screen to a smartphone, and actually we also can use them with Fangle M1. Let’s think Fangle M1 is an Android phone with a special screen that can be displayed on a wall, not built on its own body. Today we will learn how to display Laptop’s screen on Fangle M1 with MirrorOp.

1.       Download MirrorOp on Laptop

Go to www.mirrorop.com and navigate to its “Product” section, and we will find out 3 types of software that MirrorOp has: Sender Software, Receiver Software and Receiver Devices. To download the one for our Laptop to display its screen to Fangle M1, here we will choose Sender Software, Windows or even Mac.

We choose Windows and then it will jump to the page for Windows version MirrorOp.

Now we simply click “Download Now” to get the software to our Laptop and then install it as any other software. It is very easy and simple to download and install!

2.       Get MirrorOp on Fangle M1

Since we will use MirrorOp on Fangle M1 to receive the screen of the laptop, then we will choose “MirroOp Android Receiver”.

We can download the APK file of MirrorOp Android Receiver on our laptop, then copy to Fangle M1. We can find out MirrorOp Android Receiver from its homeopage (as above), but we can simply do as below:
-          Open our browser with this address:       https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.awindinc.receiver
-          Copy “com.awindic.receiver” and go to a get-apk site, such as this site.
-          Paste “com.awindic.receiver” (or even the whole above URL) into the space under “Package name or Google Play URL”.
-          Click Generate Download Link and wait for a second.
-          After that, we will see a notification under “Generate Download Link” with text “Click here to download com.awindic.receiver now”. Do as it says and we will have APK file of MirrorOp Receiver on our Laptop.
-          Copy to Fangle M1 and install as we install other applications on Android.

Another way, we can open Play Store right on Fangle M1 (with connected network) and search MirrorOp Receiver and install directly there. This is much simpler than the above.

3.       Connect Fangle M1 and Laptop

At first, we have to connect Fangle M1 and the laptop with the same network. Then turn on MirrorOp on Laptop and MirrorOp Receiver on Fangle M1.

When we turnon MirrorOp Receiver on Fangle M1, we will get an IP address as below:

Type this IP address into MirrorOp we have on the Laptop and then click Connect. After that, we will see the name of Fangle M1 device appears on MirroOp. Choose it to sync the screen.

Now we have the laptop screen synced on our Fangle M1.

However, if you want to use MirrorOp for a long time, you will have to purchase its serial number to activate. Otherwise, we just can use the trial for a limited time. Fortunately, there are still many other free apps we can use in the same way, such as Splashtop for personal use (that we will talk about in the next post).
